Come and visit our stand at the IFA Show, Berlin, Germany to meet our team and find out more about how RPC can help your business.
RPC prides itself on its environmental approach to the recycling of mobile phones & communication equipment. In partnership with one of our sister companies RPC Recycle, which offers cash for unwanted mobile phones, we help protect landfill sites by offering the mobile phone consumer an alternative to just throwing away their unwanted mobile phones. Phones can now be bought back and the full current market value of that handset can be passed back to the seller or donated to one of our charities or a charity of their choice.
RPC ensures that all sensitive data from phone memory and from data card memory will be cleared during the recycling process for the purposes of Data Protection.
We work in accordance to UK Environment Agency rules & regulations. All collections and shipments of goods are done using our Waste Transfer Licence (CB/UP3090SM). Waste transfer notes are then issued once the product is booked onto our system. These transfer notes are then posted to all concerned.
We are also an authorised treatment facility (AATF) under the Waste Electical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006 (WWE/TE0006ZT/ATF).
Our processing and refurbishment plant in Norwich is registered with the Environment Agency locally and is registered exempt from holding a WEEE registration certificate due to such small quantities being wasted.
All unworkable waste produced during our process is then recycled using two outside agencies.
